From town-centre flats to suburban homes
Uxbridge has modern apartments near the centre, older terraces and houses with driveways farther out. The session can work in any of these settings because I bring professional lighting and build the setup around the practical space available.
For an apartment, tell me about visitor parking, height barriers, concierge access and the lift. For a house, keeping one driveway space clear gives the shortest route for equipment.
Allow for the Uxbridge approach
Traffic around the town centre, Uxbridge Road, the A40 and M25 approaches can vary sharply by time of day. School and commuter periods may affect the final miles even when the main route is clear.
Send the entrance you normally recommend if navigation takes visitors to a service road, rear gate or unsuitable side of the building.
Parking should cover the whole visit
A newborn session usually lasts between 1 hour 30 minutes and 3 hours, with additional time for unloading and packing away. A short-stay bay may not be enough even if it is convenient at arrival.
Check the signs at the address and arrange any visitor permit in advance. If the only longer-stay option is farther away, we should agree a safe unloading point first.
A newborn-led session at home
Newborn photography is normally best during the first six weeks, with the first 14 days preferred for sleepy, curled portraits. The session includes time for feeds, changing, settling and breaks.
Professional lighting, wraps, props, selected outfits and backdrops are included, and parents or siblings can join where time and the baby allow.
Check availability in Uxbridge
Send your UB postcode, due date or baby’s age, possible dates and package preference. Include parking, stairs, lifts or gated access so I can confirm both travel and session availability.
