Plan the parking before the photography

Hounslow has a mixture of controlled streets, permit bays, paid parking and residential roads. If your address is in a controlled parking zone, please check whether a visitor permit or another legal space is needed for the full session, including unloading and packing away.

For a house, keeping a driveway space clear is the simplest arrangement. For a flat, send the visitor-parking instructions, entrance details, floor number and lift information. A short loading bay is useful for unloading but may not be suitable for the whole photoshoot.

Hounslow traffic and airport-side routes

The A4, M4 approaches, Great West Road and roads around Heathrow can become slow at commuter times. Temporary roadworks and school traffic can also affect the final part of the journey, so share any route that regular visitors find easier.

I allow a sensible travel buffer. Your postcode, parking plan and any gate or concierge instructions help me arrive calmly and keep the session focused on your baby.

The area includes compact flats, terraced streets, suburban houses and newer developments. The photographs do not depend on a large room or bright natural light because the professional lighting comes with me.

I need a warm, practical working area, access to power and a manageable route for the equipment. Your whole home does not need to be prepared or perfectly tidy.

The session works around your newborn

Newborn sessions are usually for babies under six weeks, ideally within the first 14 days. There is time for feeds, changing, settling and breaks, with parents and siblings included where the baby and session time allow.

After the photoshoot, you view a private gallery and choose the edited photographs included in your package.
